Korea Baduk Federation(KBF)
The KBF is a governing body for the sport of Baduk in Korea. It was founded in November 24, 2005 and was approved as the 55th regular member organization of Korean Sports & Olympic Committee. KBF is currently operated by one President, 7 Vice-presidents, 13 executives, 2 auditors, with 17 sub-organizations in cities and provinces throughout South Korea. KBF is a non-profit-making organization and does not pursue any objective for its own gains.
Mission
Promotion and Globalization of K-Baduk
KBF is a member organization of Korean Sports &Olympic Committee and is involved in hosting domestic &international tournaments in order to develop Baduk as a sports event. KBF has been carrying out various projects such as sending out Korean delegation to various amateur tournaments and friendly matches held abroad, sponsoring Baduk products to international Baduk organizations, dispatching of international Baduk instructors and professional players to spread Baduk globally.
Issuance of certificates for Baduk instructors, referees and coaches
KBF issues certificates for Baduk instructors, referees, and coaches for efficient Baduk education, and fair game. KBF also issues Dan/Kyu certificates for amateur players to accurately measure one’s current level.
KBF holds various national Baduk tournaments for amateur players with cooperate with 17 local chapters of KBF to promote Baduk in Korea.
Putting efforts to make Baduk an official sport for Asian Games and the Olympics
Asian Go Federation was founded in 2996, and holds General Assembly annually. AGF is consistently working on making Baduk an official sport in both Asian Games and the Olympics.

1. Korea Primary School Baduk Association
The Korea Primary School Baduk Association was founded in 1990, holds many tournaments to promote Baduk culture across the country for future generation.
Korea Secondary School Baduk Association holds many tournaments to promote Baduk culture across the country for future generation.
Korea University Baduk Association supports the passionate activities of University Baduk.
Korea Women’s Baduk Association tries to promote and expand the female Baduk population across the country.
